April Pop-Up Event: Celebrating The Week of the Young Child

A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us for our Week of the Young Child event on Tuesday, April 8 2025..

The amazing turnout blew us away—it was truly heartwarming to see so many smiling faces and families coming together to celebrate the power of play. Your support means the world to us!

The event was in celebration of the Week of the Young Child®, an annual event sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). According to the NAEYC, the purpose of this week is to “focus public attention on the needs of young children and their families and to recognize the early childhood programs."

We’d also like to give a special shoutout and thank you to Kristi Maas and the Southern Valley Early Childhood Initiative for their ongoing support and the incredible work they do in the community. The Southern Valley ECI has created a fantastic resource guide to help strengthen early care and education in our region. Their vision—to make our community the best place for our youngest children to grow, thrive, and reach their full potential—beautifully aligns with our mission.

We’re keeping the momentum going with monthly pop-up events, so be sure to keep an eye out for our next one. These events are all about bringing joy, creativity, and learning opportunities to kids and families right here in our community.

We’re especially excited about what’s ahead at our future home in the historic movie theater in Breckenridge! While we don’t have an official opening date just yet, we’re actively working toward it through our capital campaign—and we need your help to bring this dream to life.
